BAPS App Wales is shortlisted for 'Best New Mobile App'

The recently launched BAPS App (the breast axilla postoperative support app) has been shortlisted for 'Best New Mobile App' at the Best Mobile App Awards.

BAPS App was designed and brought to life by our Creative and Immersive Tech teams alongside physiotherapists, a breast cancer surgeon and breast cancer survivors following constructive feedback from patients about the information on post-operative exercise that is currently available.

The app will take post-operative patients through exercises, give them and idea of how they are doing and progressing with self-checks and rewards. It will also send notifications to remind the user to do exercises as well as trigger patient to contact their key worker if things aren’t progressing so that it can help them access earlier intervention and prevent delays in any other treatment (for example, Radiotherapy) due to restricted movement. It also aims to encourage self-management, decrease the user’s anxiety and hopefully give a sense of achievement and improve their overall wellbeing.

All we ask is that you spare a few seconds of your time to vote for BAPs App Wales (only 1 vote per ip address)
