Stores Assistant

Ref: MD-SA19

As part of the Orchard team the Stores Assistant is responsible for organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage, maintenance, upgrading and despatch of Orchard extensive warehoused hire goods.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, maintenance and dispatch of goods
  • Process orders produced in Hiretrack
  • Maintain layout of stores space to ensure space utilisation
  • Use mechanical handling equipment efficiently,
  • Make sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
  • Use of automated and computerised systems such as Hiretrack
  • Assist with all maintenance and PAT testing of equipment and vehicles
