How we work

Our story began in the commercial world - producing TV commercials and promotional content for some of the world’s biggest brands. All from our base here in Wales.

Our team are the team behind commercial content for Johnson & Johnson, GE, Guinness World Record, UEFA Champion’s League and Visit Wales – the national tourism body in Wales.

In fact, it’s this very commercial that saw us take a customised seaplane, put an A-list Hollywood actor behind the wheel and fly it through Wales. It’s a commercial that we’re particularly proud of – not only because of the work behind it, but also because it showcases the best of what Wales can offer.

Of course, commercials are a different medium. Though whilst the duration may be shorter, the storytelling technique remains the same. And that’s something we put at the core of everything that we do – great storytelling. That’s what we do best. Great stories are what drives all our TV content, and is something that is always at the core of our ideas.

We’ve built a reputation as producers of factual and factual entertainment programmes – often showcasing travel, culture and food. Music too. We love producing content with a musical feel – though you’d assume that would be the case of course, given that we’re part of a group that is also Wales' biggest music promoters.

We are also big sports fans producing documentaries that focus on the stories behind some of Wales’ (in fact the world’s) biggest sporting names. In 2019 we produced over 35 films to mark the Rugby World Cup in Japan for the Chwedloni series – a journey that is continuing into 2020, this time capturing the stories of Wales in the Euros.

So… for great TV, with great stories, think… Orchard.
