We create health and safety communications that truly resonate. In an industry often saturated with repetitive, checkbox-style messaging – engaging an audience can feel like an uphill battle.
To break that cycle, Netflix engaged with Orchard Labs to reimagine what safety communications could look like across its international productions. Together, we set out to develop a suite of content that would not only inform but inspire attention and action, by treating internal comms with the same creative energy as the entertainment Netflix is known for.

With a common goal of audience engagement, we helped Netflix to create a new kind of safety communications. Breaking tradition and leveraging techniques from other industries to develop a suite of content to be delivered across all teams internationally, throughout the Netflix productions.
We worked alongside Netflix and their teams to create 11 videos in 18 languages (to be translated into more in the future) to communicate best practice when dealing with the most common risks areas to those working on sets.
They were split 4 categories.

Using the Netflix catalogue of content, we told the story using clips in a trailer style approach. We composited the Icons that were representing the hazards directly into the footage to show presence of risk in the filming process and delivered a suite of Health and Safety content like no other.
