To kick things off in April, we had the honour of hosting the Peer-to-Peer Deforestation Business Learning event for Size of Wales. Welsh businesses joined us, to join a growing movement towards social responsibility, pledging their support to make Wales the first deforestation-free nation
Our Content team embarked on an exciting journey across Wales to film ‘Cysgu o Gwmpas‘ for S4C. Teaming up with the fantastic Beti George and Huw Stephens, they explored Wales’ finest hotels and restaurants. Watch it here
Adding to our list of exciting events, we hosted the Tafwyl Launch party for S4C and Lwp at our HQ. The Pizza Boys served up their renowned wood-fired pizzas, and we grooved to some fantastic Welsh music all evening – what a line up!
Our Events & Exhibitions team also proudly supported Admiral Group Plc to host their Staff General Meeting this year with over 6,500 colleagues across three sessions. From technical management to creative services to artist liaison…our team delivered a spectacular event!
Meanwhile, our Head of Digital Innovations and Creative Director at Orchard Labs took to the stage with Netflix at the HSE Global Congress in The Hague, discussing and showcasing how innovation, creativity and collaboration can all bring production Health & Safety to life.
We celebrted Earth Day with a great lunchtime team Litter pick – helping to keep our community a litter free zone. As a Keep Wales Tidy Litter Hub, people who live/work nearby can borrow equipment from us and organise their own litter pick – working together to keep Wales, and our beautiful planet clean!
And finally, at Orchard HQ, we continued our commitment to sustainability by hosting another Lunch and Learn session with COCO+, our sustainable travel partner platform, the first business travel platform that enables you to offset all your business travel impact, with interest, at no extra cost. Neil, Sarah, and Hanna from the COCO+ team led a training session on sustainable travel practices, discussing with us on how to calculate and offset our carbon footprint, bringing us one step closer to working towards becoming a carbon neutral company.
