June has been an exceptionally vibrant and productive month here at Orchard, brimming with exciting projects, insightful events, and impactful community initiatives.

From creating dynamic content to attending industry showcases and reaffirming our commitment to excellence and community service, our team has made significant strides.

Our Content team was immersed in the 45th Celtic Media Festival from June 4th to 6th at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff. This festival brings together media professionals from the Celtic nations and regions, promoting their languages, cultures, and talents. It was a privilege to be part of this prestigious event.

Our PR and Content teams had a blast this month shooting engaging content for Fun HQ Cardiff, the city’s newest climbing and play centre. This fun-filled project is part of their upcoming campaigns and social media promotions. We’re thrilled to see these creative ideas come to life and look forward to sharing more exciting content and campaigns for Fun HQ. Stay tuned for the fun!

While our PR team was busy in Cardiff, our Media team attended the annual ITV showcase in Manchester. Hosted by ‘This Morning’ presenter Josie Gibson and featuring a keynote from Peter Field, the event underscored the enduring significance of TV in advertising. The team returned with brilliant takeaways that will undoubtedly enhance our ability to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

June also underscored our core values at Orchard. We were once again qualified as a registered supplier under the Financial Services Qualification System (FSQS). This prestigious qualification, used by major UK banks and financial institutions, demonstrates our compliance with regulators, policies, and governance. We’re proud of our team for consistently pushing for excellence and upholding high standards, providing enhanced reassurance to our existing and future clients.

At Orchard, giving back to society and the environment is integral to our ethos. Our team members are encouraged to take a day off every quarter to volunteer. This month, our Group Strategy Director, Sarah, took the lead in organizing the Evenlode Primary School Art Exhibition, raising over £1,800 for new books. Kudos to Sarah for her dedication and making a tangible difference in the community!

Our Orchard Labs team were thrilled to be at the 8th Annual HSE Learning Summit – UK South, part of the prestigious HSE Global Series at the end of the month.

At the event, the team had a stall and engaged with industry professionals about how Orchard Labs is revolutionizing the Health & Safety sector with cutting-edge digital innovations and solutions.

The content team had a fantastic time at Pride Cymru filming a mini-doc and live stream for S4C. The mini-doc will be out on Lŵp’s Youtube early July, and the Cabarela live stream can be watched back here.

This year, we celebrated Pride Month with a vibrant Pride takeover of our internal newsletter and a memorable end-of-month event! Our celebration included an interactive LGBTQ+ trivia quiz and karaoke featuring songs by LGBTQ+ artists. We reflected on the progress made in LGBTQ+ rights while recognizing the journey ahead. To support our local community, we purchased items from The Queer Emporium for the event, adding a special touch to our festivities.

As we wrap up June, we’re excited about the momentum we’ve built and look forward to more dynamic projects, insightful learnings, and impactful community contributions. Stay connected with us as we continue to strive for excellence and make a positive impact.
