Bergstrom’s 75th Diamond Anniversary Gala
Bergstrom Inc., the leading global designer and manufacturer of cab climate systems for commercial trucks, off-highway machines and speciality vehicles, tasked us with organising their 75th Diamond Anniversary celebration. With a reputation for innovation and quality spanning five countries, Bergstrom needed an event that matched their global stature. Having successfully managed their 65th anniversary, we were entrusted to create a memorable gala dinner for 250 international and UK-based delegates. The challenge was to deliver an event that lived up to the company’s worldwide celebrations, showcased Wales, honoured Bergstrom’s history and supported Velindre Cancer Care—all within a set budget.

We brought our years of experience in managing corporate galas and celebration events to this project. Working closely with the Bergstrom team based in Ystrad Mynach, we used our venue finding platform, cardiffconferencebureau.com, to find the perfect location at Holland House in Cardiff, meeting Bergstrom’s need for a high-quality, central venue with key transport links.
Our creative team developed an event-specific sub-brand, collaborating closely with Bergstrom to finalise the design. This branding was applied across all event touchpoints, creating a unified experience for attendees.
The gala dinner featured a Diamond Disco theme with a bespoke entertainment piece from Organised Kaos circus school, a covers pop band, a cartoonist, a photobooth, and roaming mirror ball heads. Ex-Welsh and British Lions rugby player, Scott Quinnell, hosted the evening, adding to the fun atmosphere.
Using our in-house registration portal and top-notch AV systems, we ensured smooth event delivery. Our content team not only captured the event through photography and video but also conducted pre-event filming to capture the essence of working at Bergstrom and the spirit of the celebration.
We incorporated eco-friendly practices, such as digital displays and reusable water stations, and organised a silent auction and raffle to support Velindre Cancer Care.
The event was a hit with guests, who enjoyed the evening and shared positive feedback.
“On behalf of us all here, we just wanted to say a ‘MASSIVE THANK YOU’ to you all, what an incredible night! We haven’t got much done this morning as that is all everyone is talking about, how amazing the evening was…. And that is thanks to you guys, your commitment, hard work and attention to detail was first class.
We have received so many messages from our overseas visitors and all other guests telling us how much they enjoyed the whole night, we can’t thank you enough. Once again, thank you! What a Team.”
